I use it to save forms and upload records.
  • Easy to use
  • Accessable
  • Free
  • Save a doc
It is great for saving things. It is not terrible but it does not save Word documents as Word. You have to upload them again or use a Google doc. You lose functionality when you convert. Overall it is easy to use and the best thing is that the program is absolutely free

we use it to back up the data and cloud shared internally and externally. I used google drive for this purpose in a free plan when the business was small. it's covered all our needs in centralized data and backed it up. In addition, google drive is one of the most suppliers' trusted.
  • Backup data from desktop
  • Share data via links
  • Easy to access on all devices
  • Brows the backup like whatapp
  • Except for file types on the backup
  • Stop holding 5 $ when subscribing.
It's the best free 15 GB cloud storage, you can use it and when you need extra storage you can buy it. in small business, you can use it and when upgrading the company you can upgrade your system to the max. Google has a vast library of apps and software.

I am using it in the sales department. It is very useful to store important data. In my Real Estate company I need to maintain my clients' important data. It is very important for me to keep all the property related documents securely. So I manage all my clients' property documents in Google Drive. It is very easy and systematic to keep those documents in Google Drive.
  • It is a virtual storage space. So I can access it anywhere and at any time.
  • It has the capacity to store large data.
  • It helps to share data with my people by a link only.
  • Its criteria of collecting personal information for streamlining better user experience.
  • It's good to have one account for using multiple products of Google but at the same time it's risky also. If I compromised that account, I'd be compromising my Google Drive data also.
  • They should give more space. 15GB is too little when it is associated with a Gmail account also.
It is well suited when I travel. I don't need to keep any physical drive to carry my data or important documents. I can access my documents anywhere and at anytime. I access everything in my smartphone only.

We share large sized files via Google Drive and this adds value as anyone at any place in the world can download the files shared just by clicking a link that we send them them. This has added a lot of value in putting our files into a cloud system rather than to store files on our servers.
  • The way files are uploaded into folders is very organized.
  • It is very easy to create an account and upload files.
  • You do not need a trainer to learn how the system works. You just log and upload.
  • The limitation of the overall size can be increased.
I needed large sized files from our branch in UAE and it was going to be downloaded anytime during the day by certain individuals therefore it was uploaded by our staff there; the link was received and then all our staff managed to get the access to download the files with no issue.

We collect meeting notes, write new blog entries, communicate information with clients, and more using Google Drive. Most of our customers also favor Drive over other file storage solutions. There are several causes for this, but Google Drive is just quick, easy, and safe. Here are a few additional justifications for why you should use Drive if you don't already: Utilize a computer, tablet, or smartphone to access data. There are no lost copies or forgotten saves to be concerned about because everything automatically saves in the cloud. Google offers 15GB of storage at no cost, with additional space available on a monthly basis. Who sees or edits your documents is under your control. We are collaborating with others in real-time. Apps for Google Drive - Use apps to edit Drive and add signatures, charts, and forms.
  • Storage.
  • Quick Access.
  • Access Anywhere.
  • Easier User Interface.
  • File Size Limits.
  • Downloading and Uploading Speed.
Suppose you require quick access to files across multiple systems. Real-time collaboration on Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. You don’t have to send ten different versions of the same file back and forth. One person can write a document in Los Angeles, and someone in Tokyo can be on at the same time and see their edits as they make them.

I usually use Google Drive to share files with my colleagues, it's pretty easy and helpful, the file system can be divided into sections just like the one used on your personal Operative System. The application for windows simplifies furthermore all the processes giving the possibility to perform all the operations from the OS's file system.
  • Near real time synchronization.
  • Share files and drives with other people.
  • Integration with Windows 10.
  • Limit of file size you can upload in a day.
  • Security Risks.
  • File Size Limits.
Google Drive is very suitable in cases where you need to share files, documents, and information with many people, for example with your team. On the other hand, you should avoid sharing sensitive data (passwords, customer information, etc..). The shared drives are managed by Google and of course, are available on the web. If an attacker could get in, your data would be compromised.

We are using Google on a daily basis day to day life for creating and managing spreadsheets for creating PRD and SRS documents and many more. This is primarily used and we can share all the documents with any mode to another user like read, write, or comment so that according to this we can take the action on it.
  • Sharing of any document with privilege
  • Inline comment section
  • Spreadsheet with multiple sheet
  • We can set the priority on document
  • As according to my use case it is fulfilling all my requirement so i don't have as such requirement which is not implemented here.
There are so many features which are extensively used here so I would recommend to everyone to use this. Here we can also work as a team on a particular document which is an awesome feature because everyone is working remotely so everyone can see what others are doing on a particular document. We can store every type of file here and share the public link if we want.

Google Drive is the platform for daily use. We use it to manage all our documents, images, and formats in the cloud. Essentially it is the platform to work online from the agency with clients. It allows us to save time with collaborative work in real time, in web writing, reports, and proposals to clients using various formats.
  • Collaborative work
  • Seo online writing
  • Collaborative reports
  • Follow-up of copies and ads arts.
  • Delete recent documents
  • Improve the desktop
  • More options for folder design and configuration
  • User interface
It is appropriate for use in digital marketing agencies inside social media marketing, copywriting, collaborative work, and graphic and web design.

I have been using google drive on my laptop and phone. It provides easy access to the files and we can share the files with just one click. Google Drive provides free storage of 15 GB where we can store the files. It can be accessed in Gmail and the Google Drive apps in android phones.
  • Free storage of 15 GB
  • Easily accessibility via gmail and Google Drive app in android mobiles
  • Very user friendly interface
  • Files can be shared very easily
  • Free storage can be provided more in today's market competition
  • Even if I use some best possible search words, sometimes its quite difficult to find the files
  • User interface can be made more attractive
I have been using Google Drive for the past 6-7 years and the best thing about it is how effortlessly we can share the folders and files and can store them too. It gives us the option to buy more storage but I haven't faced any issue with 15 GB storage. Despite so many advantages of Google Drive, there is only one problem that I have faced while using Google Drive which is while searching for the files in it. Even if I put the best search words, sometimes the file doesn't show up.

Google Drive is an online briefcase where we store all the important files and folders. It is very easy to use. Is embedded in Gmail and is seperately accessible via our Android phones as well via a Gdrive App. It comes with a free space of abot 15 GB. For more space of course you can buy it however 15GB is a resonably good space for routine operational activities. Al our Google forms are by default saved in G drive and also the response to those forms via excel export. I think it is a great application.
  • Great Free Space of about 15GB
  • Easy user interface
  • Easily Accessible in form of a G Drive Mobile App in Android phones and in Gmail
  • Excellent for Google Forms as output and the forms are stored in G drive by default.
  • Negligible downtime. Always up and running.
  • More free space can be provided in view of market competition.
  • GDrive can come in more attractive user interface.
  • Gdrive needs to be marketed more aggressively for user awareness.
Google Drive for us has suited well, especially for storage solutions. It is a great source of safely storing your important files and folders online. Of course, there is a hesitation to save business-critical files in Google Drive due to fears of security or hacking. However, overall I would say Google Drive has remained relevant for a long period of time now. It reinvents itself from time to time.

Our company uses Google Drive to share files, that are too large to be shared via email, with the team. Moreover, Google Drive has been a very useful tool to save important files and data and can be accessed conveniently by anyone who has been authorized. Furthermore using Google Drive helps save the use of paper which can help save the environment.
  • Share files easily and conveniently
  • Ability to share files instantly
  • Updated in real-time
  • Very easy for beginners
  • Cannot be accessed offline
  • Could be more user-friendly
  • Should support more file types like TIFF, PSD etc.
Google Drive is a cloud based storage solution that helps in keeping and storing important data in one place and allows the user to access them anywhere in the world with ease on their laptop, desktop, tablet or a smartphone. While Google Drive has made it very easy to upload, share and access data easily, Google Drive does not have an extra layer of protection if someone else from the team gets a link to your files and could access them easily. Another big drawback of Google Drive is the need of internet. You must be connected to internet to access the files or share them.

I have been using Google Drive for sometime along with several other users from my organization. It is great for downloading and uploading data very quickly. It is easy to use and integrates well with other applications. It's an easy way to collaborate and use information.
  • The application is very secure.
  • It's easy to use and integrates well with other applications.
  • Storage can be adjusted based on business size.
  • Quality of usage depends on the internet speed.
  • A gmail account is needed.
  • Free version has limited space.
Google drive is great when a user has to upload and download several files with different users. It is great for using along with other google based products. Google drive may not be great if the internet speed is too slow.

Google Drive was used to manage projects with freelancers who may not have access to internal communication at the time. It also allowed different international teams to easily share documents with other global teams and with clients in a secure manner. It is global footprint made it easy to adopt across teams, rather than get a paid management tool.
  • Allow collaboration across teams, clients and freelancers.
  • Easy to use across different systems (Mac versus PC).
  • Easy to use
  • Some functionalities on excel are still not present in the web version and it is really problematic. It is hard to use and at times we are forced to download the file, work offline and then upload again.
  • Better way to organize files
It is well suited if you need to work with freelancers and you can't invest in a paid tool management.

Google Drive has allowed both myself and other colleagues of mine the ability to access documents conveniently and efficiently regardless of where we are working from. It also gives us the opportunity to work on projects as a collaboration and see each other's notes and edits in real time, which helps everyone in terms of project deadlines.
  • Collaborative workspace
  • Real-time revisions
  • Easily accessible regardless of location
  • Some of the features in the Google Slides can provide more creativity
  • Connection issues tend to happen from time to time
  • There are no other features I believe would need to be added to suit our organization's needs
During a time where many employees have switched their workspace to working from home, being able to access documents without using a vpn or encountering a document that's being edited by someone else, google drive has become a necessity. Our projects require a lot of collaboration and constant proofing, so being able to work alongside each other and see the revisions and edits as they happen has resolved many issues for us.

It is the main cloud storage location for the company. It solves communication problems, it's used as an information wall and also retains sensitive data managed by admin users for several accounts. The scope of use is wide; mechanics use it for installation guides storage, office use it for sensitive data retention, sells use it for customer personal information.
  • Sharing large files.
  • Organization and discretization of files.
  • Access control based on permission roles.
  • Easy visualization of content on multiple devices.
  • Fast content updates.
  • The app could implement a hierarchy based structure.
  • Quick notifications for permissions request could make everything easier.
  • Faster is always better. Rapid file transfers would be great.
Google Drive is great for storing personal data and sharing public information. It might suit a scenario where an individual needs to store in an organized way his/her identification credentials. Anyhow, if limited space is a problem, maybe an individual would prefer storing tons of large video files on a fast storage physical unit rather than google drive.

  • Docs share to others
  • webapp for desktop and mobile users
  • Search from Creator, Name or other parameter
  • untitles docs saving should be stopped,
  • layout of drive should be improve and user friendly
  • sharing the docs on drive with time limit or unlimited time options
Keeping the docs on cloud storage is best and practical scenarios of now a day. if in case of low bandwidth of internet then drive should allow with resize the data and upload or download it.

Google Drive is very helpful in storing and sharing all the official document files for free. There is no need to worry about document files being lost or stolen. Can be accessed at any time. It can be easily used on mobile and desktop. This saves time and can be used to do other work.
  • It can be used on mobile phones, desktops and tablets.
  • It has the option to access the files from anywhere.
  • Downloading and uploading takes time and needs some improvement.
  • The storage limit for files uploaded daily needs to be changed, as large files can be difficult to upload.
  • It requires a lot of network.
Its biggest advantage is that it can be used very easily and anyone with a Google account can use Google Drive. Business documents, photos, and videos can be uploaded and stored here for free. The ability to edit files uploaded to Google Drive is a great advantage. You get instant access to various suite editing tools, including Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.

We use Google Drive on my organization to share files in specific projects that involves people from different teams and location. We also use it to collaborate on the development of presentations and documents, and to keep a track record of changes made on those files. I also used Google Drive a lot in college, as it was a cheaper and easier to use option, when compared to other cloud storage services.
  • Files storage.
  • Integration with Google's office suite, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Presentation.
  • Easy file sharing system.
  • File management.
  • File searching (sometimes it's hard to find an specific file path_
  • Integration with tools that are not part of Google's ecosystem.
Google Drive is really outstanding in terms of collaboration. If with you need to get work done with a big or small team and need to share files and work on them with other people at the same time, Google Drive is the right choice for you. In the other hand, if you want a system just for file storage and need good integration or synchronization with Microsoft tools or with Linux operational systems, you probably have better options in the market.

I have been using Google Drive for the sole purpose of uploading my work automatically to cloud and save it. With the new version of their windows desktop app, about 3 months ago, things started going wrong. The app started downloading all my files from the cloud to my desktop and messing up with my folder structures. As this is something that I do not want, I stopped syncing and contacted the Google One support. It has been more than 90 days and over the same ticket, support has not been able to do anything with my problem. It is not possible to revert the changes so hundreds of files that I do not want on my desktop are there. I have to spend a couple of hours to eliminate these files from my desktop. But the main problem is even I turn of "downloading" option on the app, it still downloads files and therefore I cannot sync anything. All my work is waiting to be uploaded to cloud for 90 days and I risk loosing the book that I am writing, the research I am doing and the video media I am producing. A cranky and buggy app and a support service which is not capable of solving issues in my experience. Avoid this service.
  • Nothing
  • Nothing
  • Nothing
  • Think about User Experience. When I switched to the new version of the app, I was asked some questions. I do not remember what they are, but clearly I do not want my cloud files to be downloaded automatically to my machine. Who wants that?!? Think about it? I want to save space so that's why I keep those files on the cloud only. But the app started downloading all of them.
  • Simplify Support so the same person(s) continue responding. Every reply of mine is responded by a different support person ( I guess, since I cannot see any name signatures) and they are completely lost about what is going on, or give generic answers. Really frustrating
  • Fix your app. It still downloads even I turn off the download checkbox. Do you want to drive me crazy, Google Drive?
With such an unintelligent service and bad customer support, I cannot think this service is good for anyone in my opinion. Again, why the app downloads files and folders without my permission, that should stay on Cloud, with my conscious decision? We users want to save our space on our machines by keeping some of the files on Cloud only. This app and service exterminates this basic purpose of using a such a service. Why I should use such a service then?

I've been using Google Drive for over a decade personally and for over 5 years professionally. It has met my 3 most important expectations from a storage and synchronization service- security, access, and content management. The service facilitates accessing our files and documents anywhere and everywhere with the option to edit them. It has served as a reliable backup for all files. The speed of the file upload and download process does hamper the overall experience but the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
  • Easy user interface: The service is very user-friendly. Even a novice can get his/ her way around the platform. The files are easy to segregate. Files of different types can be stored here and searched and viewed with ease
  • .2. Compatibility with various devices: The platform can be accessed on various devices- mac, android, et al. The search and filter features are really helpful.
  • Easy sharing: The files can be easily shared. The sender has the option to give appropriate permission to the receiver to view, edit, comment, or do all of them. The speed of downloading and uploading files is quite slow. The process is time-consuming. A good internet connection is a must to access a file that is even slightly heavy-sized.
  • The speed of downloading and uploading files is quite slow. The process is time-consuming. A good internet connection is a must to access a file that is even slightly heavy-sized.
  • There are limits on the size of the files making it a not so favorable platform for large-sized data sharing.
  • One big problem with the platform is that only those users who have Gmail accounts can edit files. People using other domains can only view Google Drive files. This can be a huge setback for organizations using other domains.

I use Google Drive to store and share all work-related files. I also use it to send articles to clients and partners for review. Every department uses Google Drive though. I know no matter who I'm sending something to in the company, they'll be able to access and use a Google Drive link. Great product!
  • Ease of use
  • Storage
  • Sharing files
  • The biggest problem that comes up is when sharing a file and you accidentally don't give the person access. It's easy to forget. I shared something yesterday and then closed my computer, not realizing I never gave anyone permission to view it. Maybe the UX could bring it to your attention rather than you have to search it out.
  • Honestly, the rest is great. No notes.
It's great for sharing content and soliciting feedback. A team of people can simultaneously look at my document and add notes.

Not great for heavily formatting documents. I use a technical writing software, Madcap Flare, to write my documents. I would love it if I could do the same writing in Google Drive. But alas, it's not built for that.

We are using Google Drive for files collaboration between all of our employees. We store important data usually in the form of excel sheets in which an employee can make changes according to his role. It has become an important file backup for our company using which we can store any crucial file from office location or while on the move or at the customer location.
  • Any user with access can store a file using different platforms like Android, IOS, Windows, or Ubuntu (Desktop version)
  • You can share files with any number of different users with different access rights or you can even keep it public by providing the access link and assign different rights for public access
  • You can open Excel/Word files using google software Sheets/Docs in the browser environment without having to install software like Microsoft Office etc on your Windows OS
  • Some users prefer having google software that can be installed on Windows which can open Word/Excel/PowerPoint files from Google Drive and with the same collaboration features offered on the browser versions
  • 15 Gb storage is not enough for free access which can be increased to at least 30 Gb
  • The UI of Google Drive for the browser can be changed to make it similar to the Desktop UX
As far as the current features being offered in the free version, it is probably the best option available as compared to other similar collaboration software. However, if your company has the capacity to pay for a collaboration software then there are other better options than the Paid version of Google Drive.

Google Drive is used as the primary document-sharing tool within our organization. Each time has a shared location that they share and collaborate on documents that are needed across the team. Corporate templates are shared in a specific location to be used by anyone. Individuals are also encouraged to share their working documents in Google Drive. In the event of a hardware failure, no data would be lost.
  • Collaboration
  • Sharing
  • Editing
  • Feedback
  • Could be easier to track when a document is shared, who it is shared with, and how to stop sharing.
  • Could be easier to find large documents/save space.
  • Automatic archiving and retention policies could be improved.
If you are not a Microsoft shop, then Google drive is probably the best solution to store, share, and track corporate documents. Most of your users will be familiar with using the tool personally, very easy to add a corporate layer and use the tool professionally. IT is a very flexible tool, can accommodate almost all use cases and workflows. Can be used collaboratively with partners, customers, and across your business.

We use Google Drive to collaborate with our field team to collect and analyze data in real-time. It helps us to collect our merchant documents directly into the drive from Google form so that we don't have to wait for the physical documents. We can verify all the documents instantly and guide our agent if everything is in order. We collect candidate CVs via Google Drive so it mitigates our problem of storing and sharing at the same time.
  • Collaboration with others is a breeze. We can share instantly both via links or Gmail [addresses] and thanks to Android everyone has a Google account now.
  • Team members can upload documents to a specific Drive location
  • You can create different levels of permission for different collaborators
  • Right now it only creates one link for sharing. Separate links for view, download, and edit will be more convenient
  • It doesn't offer the option to transfer the images to Google Photos which would be a great help for photo management
  • The mobile version became useless as you need Sheets for viewing Excel, Docs for Word files. Google should at least provide a viewer in Drive. All cloud storage [has] one now.
If you are using a laptop or desktop, Drive is a very easy-to-use versatile tool. From uploading to sharing and viewing, the whole process is seamless and in one place. The mobile user experience is not as smooth. My field team uses the WPS office to get out Google's requirement of downloading four different apps for four different tasks. Google should bring their desktop experience to mobile as well. Sad thing is, it was the same before.

From my academic institution, as a lecturer of Information and Communication Technology, I'm instructed to find a comfortable technology that will be helpful for all the academic and administrative staff to the covid time. Then I searched for many and finally, I suspected to use google drive for everyone's use. Being a teacher, I'm supposed to conduct classes every day according to my routine. For daily tasks, I face different colors of problems like preparing documents, preparing slides, and to store and share these class notes with our learners. As its substance, Google Drive is a staggering conveyed stockpiling plan. However, with time, and with the right skill, it can transform into a major convenience contraption for anyone, from understudies to business specialists. So, I need such an application that integrates all other applications altogether. And google drive helps me to do those tasks frequently. Since I am experiencing these facilities, I suggest my authority arrange a training session where I teach all my colleagues how to use google drive along with other applications of google using a single google account which is totally free of cost. Using google drive is like using a virtual Pendrive which was costly in my third-world country. My Institution is now in training on G suite for getting the most out of google drive, where our teaching and administrative staff can find detailed guides for all things regarding the use of Google Drive. Nowadays not only the departments but also the whole institution are using google drive as cloud-based storage and my institution is planning to increase its free capacity from 1 GB
  • Firstly, Cloud-based Storage facility.
  • Integration with Single google account
  • Integration with other cloud-based storage system like one note
  • Facility of using even in off-line mode.
  • Using other googles application like google docs, sheet, presentation
  • The quite simple working graphical working environment which is not having plenty of menus.
  • Its own file format.
  • Having a little bit more control and clarity over what is shared and how it is shared would be a useful improvement.
  • Could be more robust and flexible as far as assigning restrictions.
  • Google Sheets could be enhanced because Excel really is not there yet as a product with equal capabilities as there are still quite a few limitations to the functionality.
I will definitely rate 10 out of 10 if I am asked by a colleague in terms of using my Google Drive because Google Drive offers users 15 GB of free storage through Google One and it is enough for me as a teacher for my daily job also it is not limited to 15 GB only moreover, Google One also offers 100 GB, 200 GB, 2 TB, offered through optional paid plans if anyone needs to increase one's storage capacity. Files uploaded can be up to 750 GB in size.
